There are different types of conveyors manufactured by Cavicchi Impianti. Of those, the flexible screw conveyor (mod. TS) is a compact system which can and easily be adapted to any location. The TS can be mounted horizontally, inclined or vertically and is able to cover considerable distances. A screw conveyor can be used to feed, distribute or collect and control material flow in processing operations. Mixed products keep mixed and do not separate with the TS. This system are ideally suited for the most diversified markets: foodstuffs, plastics, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and more, wherever powders and/or granules are involved.

The flexible screw conveyers made by Cavicchi Impianti with modular design, provide an economical means to convey powder or granular material. These conveyors use a stainless steel or carbon steel spiral, enclosed within plastic tubing and they are suitable for transferring material from feed hopper to discharge point. Applications include transfer of foods, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and plastics, powders and granular materials without separation of product from bulk bag unloaders, bag dump stations and feed hoppers. The rotation of the spiral allows a constant product mixing, preventing separation of blends, throughout the entire length of the conveyor.
